Mrs. Ida Steinman Ellena's mother, Ida Steinman, passed away on December 8, 2003, five days past her 100th birthday. She lived a long, full and active life and will be greatly missed by all. One of her favorite activities was crocheting Christmas decorations including snowflakes and angles. Two of her angels are shown above. The above photo of her was taken three months before her 100th birthday.
The New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ (formally called the Reformed Church) in East Greenville, Pennsylvania played an important role in the life of Mrs. Steinman. She was active in church activities, taught Sunday School and attended services on a regular basis for many years. Ellena was also very active in church affairs through her earlier school years. She even won awards for perfect Sunday School attendance.
